Film Tracks Ongoing Concert Series Are you a movie lover? Do you love to listen to soundtracks and filmscores? We have a concert for you! Join us as we present an ongoing series that features music from film and television. Our first concert will focus on action music. NH Community Choir Spring Concert This concert is in development.
Anna Maria Dwyer and Jimi James produced and directed a fully staged production of Gian Carlo Menotti's opera Amahl and the Night Visitors in January 2009. Five performances, conducted by Phil Lauriat of Granite State Opera, were given in Manchester and Derry New Hampshire, and in Newton, Massachusetts. The production, complete with costumes, sets, dancers, and strong voices marked the beginning of Music Arts Alive's entry into fully staged classical works for New England audiences. MAA is planning to bring back a yearly production of this Christmas classic!
Homes of Distinction Concert Series You've driven passed them a hundred times and wondered what it would be like to spend an evening in one of the beautiful Homes of Distinction that grace our New England cities and villages. Music Arts Alive would like to give you this opportunity by presenting a series of classical concerts performed in period costumes and played on period instruments. Still in the developmental stages, more information will be made available for this exciting new concept. |
